I am a competitive football player but I was plagued by injuries in 2009, it came to the point where I would play a game on Sunday, and then barely recover in time for the next Sunday’s game, the vicious cycle never seemed to end. It was very frustrating as it really hindered my progress.
Thankfully though, I met coach …Jon. After explaining my problems to him, he did a thorough assessment and identified certain issues that were causing the injuries. He then advised me on how to fix these issues in order to be less injury prone. He showed me which stretches would be effective to do, and also wrote me a weight training program that took into account whatever injuries that I have.
1 month later, I was already feeling much better, I made tremendous gains in my flexibility. Whatever injury problems I was facing have disappeared.
It has been slightly more than 2 months now since I have seen Coach Jon, and not only am I less injury prone, but my strength, speed and agility have all improved. In the gym, I’ve made consistent strength gains, and I now warm up with weights that I used to struggle with not too long ago. On the field, I am faster, stronger, more agile, and hardly suffer from injuries.
Coach Jon’s results do speak on their own. But what was more impressive was the way he treated me. At his facility, he was very patient and answered all my questions thoroughly.
As I live in Malaysia, I’m unable to train at Genesis like the others. I consistently give feedback on my training to Coach Jon, and he advises me on what modifications I should make based on my feedback.

ACL Surgery Rehab – Kenneth Poon
I had an ACL knee surgery recently and ever since then, my knees have never felt that good. Until I came to Genesis and started their ACL rehab program. My progress at the Genesis Gym has been great.
I also achieved my fat loss and muscle gaining goals and now weigh 84kg with low body fat.
My ACL Knee injury is now 100% recovered and I am back to full speed and full strength. I am even taking part actively in martial arts, basketball and other sports.
My strength, posture and flexibility has also increased tremendously; I am also fully confident in my previously injured knee.

I previously had really terrible ankle and hip mobility. I had a history of leg injuries and a lifestyle that did not encourage correct movement and posture contributed to my extremely poor lower body flexibility.
These problems made many physical activates like golf which I love, difficult and un-enjoyable.

My back was 7/10 pain (very painful!) when my injury occured. Coach Jon healed me with his gadgets and gave me medcines. I took them like I was told and i recovered the next day with the pain feeling lesser ( 3/10 ). The pain went away after a few more days.

Genesis has the top-notch equipments, trainers and many more to offer. Each programme is carefully planned for your needs and do proven to be efficient. Definitely, hard work is required to achieve your goals! The trainers are friendly and professional. This is definitely the PLACE to go if you want to be fit, strong and lean!! In my time there I have dropped from 28% body fat down to 13% losing 16kg of fat along the way.
I actually had a right shoulder injury before I joined jon’s gym last march. it was called a SLAP tear. it hurt so bad that I could not rotate my shoulder completely, hanging on the pullup bar and could not play the sport I love: softball.
After being 1 plus year in Jon’s gym training, my right shoulder was even better and stronger than before! NO MORE PAIN when it comes to rotating my shoulder and I could resume playing softball. furthermore, I could even do 12 pullups (and counting) in one attempt!
